Enamel Name Plates

Traditional continental enamel house name plates. Our signs and numbers are hand-made in vitreous enamel. The enamelling process is very labour intensive and involves the fusing of coloured enamels to a steel backing at temperatures up to 840C. Each sign is fired several times to produce the finished design.

The end result is a very durable, colour-fast, translucent gloss finish. A number of colour combinations are available. White letters on a blue background being the number and street signs traditionally seen throughout France. Signs and numbers are pre-drilled for easy mounting and mounting kits are supplied. All our signs are weatherproof and maintenance free.
